We hope that this email finds all of you and your loved ones in good health. The Greek Politics Specialist Group is pleased to share the following news and details about research opportunities, and calls for papers:

GPSG NEWS
1. Research Opportunity at the GPSG! 
The Greek Politics Specialist Group (GPSG) is looking for a Research Assistant – with remuneration –  for the project “Covid-19 Pandemic and European Policy Responses. A Literature Review”.
Qualifications:
– Recent MA/PhD degree in Social Sciences (Politics, Economics, Sociology). PhD candidates may also apply.
– Excellent knowledge of English as a working language and good knowledge of Greek.
– Experience in participation in research focusing on contemporary European politics.
Main duties: Research tasks (desktop analysis, comparative literature review) in support of the implementation of the project “Covid-19 Pandemic and European Policy Responses. A Literature Review”.
Duration of the contract: December 2020-February 2021
Deadline for application: 20 November 2020

CALL FOR PAPERS

1. Call for papers – HAPSc Policy Briefs Series
The Hellenic Association of Political Scientists (HAPSc) is inviting all researchers and experts to submit Policy Briefs based on recent research conducted in the following topic: “State, Democracy, Society and Economy in the 21st century: challenges and prospects”. The Call is open to both members and non-members of the Hellenic Association of Political Scientists and the brief could be submitted by up to six authors. Authors can be academics, technocrats and business executives.  
The policy brief should be between 2.000 – 2.500 words including references. 
The selected Policy Briefs will be published at the “HAPSc Policy Briefs Series: State, Democracy, Society and Economy in the 21st century: challenges and prospects”.
Deadline for Submission is: 30/11/2020
